Connections and clients
How SosoAPI connects products and social accounts
Connect your social accounts in SosoAPI, then choose how to work: use your agent through MCP, build with the API, or manage posts in the app. All three use the same accounts and schedules.
Read as MarkdownWhat the connection layer does
Once you connect a social account, your agent can read the information available for it, help prepare a post, schedule it and check the publishing result.
Connect through the social platform’s own consent page. SosoAPI’s public website never asks for your social account password. Access is limited to the organization, workspace, account and permissions you select.
API, automation, and AI clients
Use MCP with a compatible AI client, the REST API from your own code, or the SosoAPI app to edit and schedule posts yourself.
All three use the same permissions. Your workspace role, the selected account and the access granted to your agent determine what it can read or change.
A useful request sequence
For example, ask your agent to read recent posts from one connected account and draft a product update. Review the wording, destination account and time, then ask it to schedule the post. The quickstart shows how to connect your client.
Give the agent Schedule and publish access if you want it to create the schedule. With Read, create and edit access, it can help prepare the post, but you submit it from the app.
Getting started
Create and verify a Free account, connect a supported social account, then follow the quickstart for your client. Your plan and the account’s platform permissions determine which actions are available.
- Use the REST API to add social publishing to your product.
- Use the app to review content and manage schedules yourself.
- Use MCP to work from a conversation in a compatible AI client.
- Check the platform guide for the formats and actions your account supports.
