YouTube video publishing with SosoAPI

Prepare the video and channel metadata together, choose its visibility, and track the confirmed publishing result.

Supported publishing formats

  • Video

Account requirements

  • Connect the exact YouTube channel you want to publish to and grant an accepted video-upload permission.
  • Native scheduling and management need youtube.force-ssl or youtube access. An older upload-only grant does not establish those capabilities.
  • Supply a ready video, title and explicit private, unlisted or public visibility. Check the full draft and the channel’s observed capabilities.

Current limits and optional features

  • YouTube decides whether a video qualifies as a Short. A Shorts surface expectation does not guarantee placement or create a separate supported post type.
  • Custom thumbnails and other optional channel features can remain unknown until verified for the selected channel.
  • An uploaded or scheduled video is not proof of public playback. Inspect the terminal outcome and the available cancellation actions.

Check the account, not just the platform

These publishing formats are implemented. Availability still depends on your connected account, account type, granted permissions and provider access or app review. A listed integration does not guarantee that every new account can connect or use every feature.

From a prepared draft to a confirmed result

  1. Choose and check

Select the authorized Workspace and exact connected account. Check the full draft’s eligibility, ready media, publishing time and timezone. An unknown result is not verified eligibility.

  2. Review and submit

Prepare copy and media for the selected format. Scheduling or publishing needs separate publishing access; a read or preparation grant alone is not enough.

  3. Verify the outcome

Keep the original Scheduled Post ID and check its terminal outcome. Accepted uploads or schedules are not confirmed publication. Follow returned retry or cancellation actions.
