Threads profile
Account requirements
- Connect the intended Threads profile and grant threads_content_publish for publishing.
- Replies need the additional reply-management grant. Location, deletion and cross-sharing have their own permission checks.
- Validate the complete draft for that account, including media readiness and any reply, quote or repost target.
Current limits and optional features
- Polls, GIFs, text attachments, reply controls and other optional fields depend on the account, permissions and selected post type.
- A media container or accepted schedule does not confirm a published post. Processing can continue after the request returns.
- If a response is lost, inspect the same Scheduled Post. Follow its returned actions instead of creating a second request that could duplicate the post.
Check the account, not just the platform
These publishing formats are implemented. Availability still depends on your connected account, account type, granted permissions and provider access or app review. A listed integration does not guarantee that every new account can connect or use every feature.
From a prepared draft to a confirmed result
Choose and check
Select the authorized Workspace and exact connected account. Check the full draft’s eligibility, ready media, publishing time and timezone. An unknown result is not verified eligibility.
Review and submit
Prepare copy and media for the selected format. Scheduling or publishing needs separate publishing access; a read or preparation grant alone is not enough.
Verify the outcome
Keep the original Scheduled Post ID and check its terminal outcome. Accepted uploads or schedules are not confirmed publication. Follow returned retry or cancellation actions.
